You forgot about it? Well, then let me refresh your memory since we will probably seeing this nifty Android smartphone landing to the US market pretty soon as it just reached the FCC table for scrutiny. The Huawei Ideos X6 is a pretty powerful Android handset offering a 4.1-inch capacitive display, HSPA+ 14.4Mbps, Wi-Fi b/g/n, a-GPS, Google Apps, accelerometer, HD video recording, HD video playback and Dolby Mobile Surround Sound and HDMI output. In other words, this smartphone has all the potentials to become a pretty powerful multimedia phone.
Now, documents that reached the FCC indicate that the Huawei X6 will support quad-band GSM/EDGE and AWS spectrum bands. This somewhat points to the possibility that the device is heading towards T-Mobile. Incidentally, T-Mobile is also carrying another Huawei-branded Android phone, the Comet. But of course, these are all speculations since both T-Mobile and Huawei would not tell us more whereabouts of the Huawei Ideos X6.
